PEG-150 Distearate (Esther-PD 638)

General Information :

PEG-150 Distearate (Esther-PD 638) is a light yellow solid. This product is a non-ionic surfactant. This product is soluble in water and has excellent thickening property. It is widely used for thickening various aqueous products, especially for non-ionic and anionic AES systems. At the same time, the product has the properties of conditioning, softening, ester resistance, anti-static and improving the stability of O/W emulsion. It is a thickening agent with excellent properties. Esther-PD 638 is a kind of Nonionic surfactants esterified by polyethylene glycol and stearic acid. It is widely used in liquid detergents such as shampoo, bath lotion, facial cleanser, cleaning essence and textile printing and dyeing thickening. It has excellent thickening and adjustment.

Properties :

1.No need premix, heat or extra treatment, can be added in any step of emulsifying.

2.Applicable to all kinds of oils such as vegetable oil, polar and non-polar oil, without heating or other extra treatment.

3.Stabilizing organic or inorganic pigment in formula, thickening some formulas containing 40% alcohol, other organic solvent and polylol.

4.Can be used over a wide range of pH 3.5~11.5.

5.No influence on viscosity after long-time high speed shearing or under UV radiation.

Application：

Shampoo, Shower Gel, Hand sanitizer, Facial Cleanser, Washing liquid, Cream, Domestic detergent, Industrial detergent, Printing and dyeing, Pesticide.

Formula Guidelines :

1.This product is heated and dissolved in hot water and stirred evenly.

2.The recommended dosage is about 0.2 ~ 3.0%, which can be adjusted according to the formula.
