Product Description :

PEG Series is low toxic, water-soluble liquids or waxy solids depending on EO mole adduct or average molecular weight. PEG can be formulated in various industrial applications to enhance solvating and lubricating capability, to increase viscosity, or to act as mold-releasing and anti-statistic agents. PEG Series can play as a diol used for several polymer synthesis (eg. Epoxy, Ester... etc.)  

Polyethylene glycol and polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester are widely used in cosmetics industry and pharmaceutical industry. Because polyethylene glycol has many excellent properties: water solubility, non-volatility, physiological inertia, gentleness, lubricity and make the skin wet, soft, pleasant after use. Polyethylene glycol with different relative molecular weight grades can be selected to change the viscosity, hygroscopicity and structure of the product. Polyethylene glycol (Mr<2000) with low molecular weight is suitable for use as a wetting agent and consistency regulator, for creams, lotions, toothpastes and shaving creams, etc., and for unwashed hair care products to give hair a filamentous shine. Polyethylene glycol (Mr>2000) with high molecular weight is suitable for lipstick, deodorant stick, soap, shaving soap, foundation and beauty cosmetics. In cleaning agents, polyethylene glycol is also used as a suspension agent and a thickener. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as a base for ointments, emulsions, ointments, lotions and suppositories.

Handling and Storage :

Keep in a tightly closed container, stored in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
