Description :

1.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate ( Esther-SLES/AES) is the sodium salt of C1214 fatty alcohol poly-(2)-ethoxy sulphate. Sulphation process carried out on C1214-2 leads to the acidic form, unstable. This acidic form is neutralized with sodium hydroxide up to a neutral pH value.

Main Applications :

1.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate is suitable for the production of personal care (shampoo, shower gel, liquid soaps) as well as high viscous Hand Dish Washing formulations.

2.Due to its chemical structure, is able to increase easily the formulation viscosity in presence of a low content of electrolyte.

Handling and Storage :

1.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate-70 should be stored preferably in stainless steel or fiber glass tanks.

2.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate-70 must be stored at temperature below 50°C. Storage tanks must be heated with water at a temperature below 50°C.

3.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate-70 is a paste which can be pumped at room temperature.

4.Sodium Laureth Sulfate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate-70 is soluble in water up to an active matter of 27 % w.

5.Shelf life is 12 months from the production date.

6.Contact with acid matters could cause hydrolysis.
