Product Introduction :

Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate And Water (Esther-EDDS) main raw material is food grade L-aspartate, which is a non-phosphorus chelating agent that is easy to biodegrade. Especially in hard water systems, Esther-EDDS can still chelate transition metal ions (such as Fe3+, Cu2+) well before chelating hard water ions (calcium, magnesium).

Esther-EDDS has Features：

1.It is highly selective to copper and iron ions and improves hard water compatibility. In hard water, transition metal ions such as copper and iron are still preferentially chelated compared to calcium and magnesium ions.

2.Reduce the influence of water hardness in formulation or process use and improve the compatibility of hard water.

3.High thermal stability, high stability in concentrated alkaline solutions, and suitable for a wide pH value.

4.Improve the effect of fungicide in the formula.

5.Prevents discoloration and odors. Improve the oxidation resistance, reduce the oxidation catalysis of heavy metals on fatty acids, prevent odor and discoloration.

6.Environmentally friendly chelating agent, easy to biodegrade, easy to rinse.
